Audiology Staff


The Audiologists at Coastal Ear Nose and Throat have extensive university training and years of expertise. They have significant experience in diagnosing and treating a wide range of hearing concerns, from straightforward to complex cases. The audiology team work closely with our doctors and staff for the continuity of care for our patients throughout the entire process whether it be diagnostic or therapeutic. Each audiologist works one on one with the patients for their hearing aids.


Shelley L. Anderson, Au.D., CCC-A

Shelley Anderson received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Special Education-Deaf Studies fron the University of North Florida in 2009 and her Doctorate of Audiology (Au.D.) degree from the University of South Florida in May 2015.

Dr. Anderson is trained in the areas of comprehensive audiological evaluations, advanced hearing technology, osseointegrated (bone-anchored) hearing devices, and cochlear implant candidacy evaluations as well as post-cochlear implant programming. She works with all three cochlear implant companies: Advanced Bionics, Med-El Corporation and Cochlear Americas.

Dr. Anderson is a licesed audiologist in the state of Florida and holds a Certificate of Clinical Comptence in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She is also a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (F-AAA).


Susan Scott, M.A.

Susan Scott is one of three clinical audiologist in our practice. She has worked closely with our ENT doctors for 20 plus years. She completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Disorders from Northern Illinois University in 1985 and her Master of Arts degree in Audiology in 1987 followed by a clinical fellowship year in 1988 at University of Tennessee Medical Center.

She has experienve in a variety of audiology assessment including comprehensive audiological evaluations, advanced hearing technology, cochlear implant candidacy evaluations and tinnitus evaluations and counseling.

She is a licensed audiologist in the state of Florida for over 30 years and completed her Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology. Susan is also a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology.



Sheryl A. Booher, Au.D., CCC-A, F-AAA

Sheryl

Dr. Booher has 38 years of audiology experience. She was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, and received her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in Audiology from Cleveland State University. She received her Doctor of Audiology degree from Pennsylvania College of Optometry, School of Audiology in Elkins Park, Pennsylvania.

Dr. Booher has had a variety of clinical experiences ranging from educational audiology, industrial audiology, vestibular and balance disorders to cochlear implants, hearing aid dispensing, rehabilitative audiology and precepting audiology doctoral students. She feels fortunate to have such a broad range of audiology experiences, but her passion in audiology and work satisfaction comes from working closely with patients and their families to provide hearing treatment solutions to improve their hearing and communication difficulties.

Dr. Booher is a licensed audiologist in the state of Florida. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (F-AAA), and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She is also a member of the Florida Academy of Audiology (FLAA).


Lisa Krebs Au.D.

Dr. Krebs joins our practice with 15 years of audiology experience. She received her Doctorate of Audiology (Au.D.) degree in 2008 and a Bachelors Degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology in 2004, both from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. She went on to practice in the ENT and private practice settings, providing a variety of hearing and balance healthcare services. Dr. Krebs is passionate about helping people understand hearing loss and how that loss may be impacting other areas of their health and wellness.
